PTU Tut ~ Autumn Spice + FREE Snags!!
**This tutorial is of my own creation, from my own imagination. Any similarities are completely coincidental!**
Supplies:
Paint Shop Pro 9
Tube: I am using the beautiful tube Eva by VeryMany. You can purchase this beauty HERE. Please do not use this tube without the proper licensing.
Kit: I'm using the matching kit for Eva from PinkParadox Productions called "Autumn Spice." You can pick up this awesome kit of 150 elements, 12 frames and 35 papers HERE.
Font: For the copyright, I am using Arial. For the name, I'm using the font "Authentic Hilton" that you can pick up HERE.
Plugins:
Eye Candy 4000
Xero: Porcelain
Ready? Let's get started!
1. Open a new canvas 650x650, transparent background.
2. From the kit, copy Autumn Spice Frames (7) and paste as a new layer on your canvas. Resize 30%. Image > Rotate > Right > 60, All Layers UNCHECKED. In the layer palette, right click on the layer and duplicate. Image> mirror. In the layer palette, right click and Merge > Merge Down.
3. Using your Magic Wand, click inside each frame. Selections > modify > expand > 5.
4. From the kit, open Autumn Spice Papers (35). Shift + D to duplicate. Resize 60%. Paste as new layer. Move under the frames layer. Selections > invert > delete.
5. From the kit, copy Autumn Spice (151) [brown doodle]. Resize 60% and place at the top of the frames. Add a drop shadow of choice. I used 2,2, 80, 8, color Black.
6. From the kit, copy Autumn Spice (48) [rose pendant]. Resize 45% and place in between the frames. Add a drop shadow of choice.
7. From the kit, copy Autumn Spice (47) [key]. Resize 20%. Add a drop shadow of choice.
8. From the kit, copy Autumn Spice (1) [butterfly]. Resize 20%. Image > Rotate > left > 20 > All Layers UNCHECKED. Add a drop shadow of choice.
9. From the kit, copy Autumn Spice (84) [mailbox]. Resize 25%. Add a drop shadow of choice.
10. From the kit, copy Autumn Spice (119) [flower bunch]. Resize 25%. Add a drop shadow of choice.
11. From the kit, copy Autumn Spice (53) [gramophone]. Resize 30%. Add a drop shadow of choice.
12. From the kit, copy Autumn Spice (61) [watering can]. Resize 15%. Image > mirror. Add a drop shadow of choice.
13. From the kit, copy Autumn Spice (45) [violin]. Resize 25%. Add a drop shadow of choice.
14. From the kit, copy Autumn Spice (15) [books]. Resize 15% Add a drop shadow of choice.
15. From the kit, copy Autumn Spice (62) [present]. Resize 20% Add a drop shadow of choice.
16. From the kit, copy Autumn Spice (52) [phone]. Resize 20% Add a drop shadow of choice.
17. From the kit, copy Autumn Spice (12) [ring]. Resize 15%. Add a drop shadow of choice.
18. Copy and paste your tube of choice. Resize as needed. In the layer palette, right click and duplicate.
19. On your original tube layer, apply the plugin Xero: Porcelain with the default settings. Adjust > Blur > Gaussian Blur > 1.00. Add a drop shadow of choice.
20. On your duplicate tube, in the layer palette, adjust the Blend Mode to your choice - I used the Screen setting.
21. From the kit, copy Autumn Spice (88). Resize 85%. Layers > Arrange > Send to bottom.
22. From the kit, copy Autumn Spice Papers (26). Resize 65%; paste as new layer; send to bottom.
23. Apply the mask of your choice. Layers > Merge Group.
24. Resize your tag now, if needed.
25. Add your copyright information.
26. For the name, I used FG: #dec5a3 and BG: #642514, stroke width of 0.
27. Apply the following Inner Bevel:
28. I then applied Eye Candy 4000: Gradient Glow with these settings:
I did not add a drop shadow to my name, as I felt it darkened the softeness of the text.
Layers > Merge > Merge Visible. Save as a PNG and you're done!!
